What we collect on this website, why, and what we do with it.
Last updated: 27 July 2026. This policy covers boomera.io. ReviewBox and Waitspot publish their own privacy policies covering data handled inside those products.
Who we are
This site is operated by Boomera IT Solutions (“Boomera”, “we”, “us”), based in Australia. You can reach us at contactus@boomera.com.au.
We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company name, the topic you selected, and the content of your message.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is collected via cookies set by Google. We do not use it to identify you personally.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data including IP address, timestamp and user agent, for security and reliability purposes.
We do not collect payment details on this site, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and to follow up about it
- To keep a record of business enquiries we’ve received
- To understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them
- To keep the site secure and available
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use contact form submissions to add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia. By submitting the contact form you consent to that transfer.
We may also disclose information where we’re required to by law.
How long we keep it
Contact form enquiries are retained for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to keep a reasonable business record, generally no more than seven years. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ default retention settings.
Cookies
This site sets analytics cookies through Google Analytics. It does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work normally.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- correct information that’s wrong or out of date
- delete information where we don’t have a legal reason to keep it
Email contactus@boomera.com.au and we’ll respond within a reasonable period. If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled a privacy issue, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always at boomera.io/privacy/, with the date of last update at the top.
